Launch X431 HD on Easydiag? Worked?

We can use easydiag for Launch X431 HD heavy duty scanning. what we need is voltage converter. we need to convert 30v to 12v

A converter with 30 to 12 volts or a battery. I disassembled the cargo ECU. There a bunch of converters from 24 to 12 volts and the standard CAN and KL chips are powered by 12 volts. And for KL you need to select a capacitor (taking into account the passenger cars 4700 pF) for freight you need somewhere 6800- 8000 pF. Ie additional 2000-2500 pf (between the K-line and ground) is a simple KL-adapter, but that’s what the JV700 needs to look at. Concerning the “X431 HD Heavy Duty Box HD Adapter” (this is as an add-on) it can work on this program, but there must be another account for the PRO3 adapter. It’s easier to buy a dolphin or a car.

How to Unlock LAUNCH EasyDiag Locked Adapters(With Video)

We need a
dump of a non-blocked adapter (with 52 firmware on board). The programer
itself
runs the programmer in the J-link
and the program in which I did everything

Before we begin, we will
use the utility from Segger to turn our St-Link V2 (clone) into the J-Link programmer
and install the program (downloaded from the link above) with which we will flash our Device * We disassemble the adapter (I took it apart on the board with a knife by cutting the place of the gluing of the case)

connect the programmer to the pictures

J-Link (ST-Link V2 Clone)

launch the J-Flash application
or ST-Link ( also works with St-Link V2, connect it to USB to get power.)

 

Create a new project select the controller STM32F207 IG

 

after all the procedures connect our adapter to the computer and connect it to the program in the Target tab, select Connect

and well on the video)) ))))

Launch DiagunR71 resistor PCB rework

Topic: Damaged main board R71chip of Launch Diagun. (Professional advice needed.)

I bought used Launch Diagun and one of them has damaged the main board. On/off switch needs soldering and below that switch there is a tiny chip called R71, which broke off for previous user.

Does it contain any specific information/data for diagun or is it generic and interchangeable chip which i could take from a different kind of chipboards? I mean, as long as the name of the chip is the same R71, can I take that R71 chip from not diagun board and use it in diagun?

If not, can it be programmed and then used in diagun?

Sorry, I have no clue about chips and looking for professional advice. Thank you in advance.

R71 is a 100 kOhm SMD resistor, can desolder it from any electronics, it is usually marked “104”.

If Launch Diagun freezes, common problem with firmware, flash needs to be reprogrammed.

Here is chip code and I was told by ‘Gazownik’ on this site that R71 is 100kOhm resistor.

Background information:

SAS, steering angle sensor is a significant element of the ESC system which control the steering wheel position angle and rate of turn. To keep it easy, the steering in a car or other vehicle is the mechanical parts of it which make it possible to steer. The SAS is located in a sensor cluster in the steering column. The cluster normally is compatible with more than one steering position sensor for confirming data. The ESC module has to receive two signals to confirm the steering wheel position. These signals are often out of phase with each other.

Steering Angle Calibration though Launch X431V:

1. To reset the steering angle, first find the relative zero point position for the car

to drive in straight line. Taking this position as reference, the ECU can

calculate the accurate angle for left and right steering.

2. After replacing the steering angle position sensor, replacing steering

mechanical parts (such as steering gearbox, steering column, end tie rod,

steering knuckle), performing four-wheel alignment, or recovering car body,

you must reset the steering angle.

How to do a steering angle learning with 2017 launch x431 v scan tool:

Go to launch x431 v app

Register an account and download VW software

Then special functions for steering angle learning

  

steps as the tablet displays:

1 start the vehicle

2 drive in a short distance straight line on a level surface at a speed not higher than 20km/h

3 while driving turn the steering wheel one turn to the right and one turn to the left

4 when having the steering wheel straight again stop the vehicle with the wheel’s pointed straight

5 ensure that the steering wheel is not moved again

6 keep the engine running and do not switch off the ignition

7 system voltage at least 12.0v

Result: OK!
